On Friday we returned to Praia das Conchas (Shell Beach). I went last year with my father-in-law but only stayed a few minutes. It’s remote, requiring visitors to drive for 5 or 10 minutes through a preserve. Its isolation made me nervous last time but now I realize that it is probably safer than other beaches. Regardless, the whole family loved the beach itself. The kiosks serve food and drinks on the beach with wait service and the water and scenery are beautiful. What I didn’t see last year was the view from the rocks just beside the beach. This incredible display of nature deserves its own post.
B, of course, wasted no time finding ways to stimulate the local economy.
