Greetings from Teresópolis, a small city high in the mountains an hour and a half outside of Rio de Janeiro. B’s grandmother has had a house there for almost 40 years (she lives in Niterói). Over the years, this place has become one of my favorite spots in the world. We usually either start or end our visits here. This time, we scheduled a few days a week and half before our departure date and invited a pretty big crew to spend the weekend with us. The house itself is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. It sits on a large plot of land essentially surrounded by a national park. More about our weekend here in future posts.
