More PDA…

and I don’t mean personal digital assistant nor public display of affection. I’m talking about Pão de Açucar. Dug through the pictures I took and found a few more I really like. Below, you can see the neighborhood where B’s grandma lives (Icaraí in Niterói) on the horizon in the middle (white buildings).Look at how the sunlight breaks over the mountains -- truly a wonder of nature. On the left, you can see Copacabana.Detail from above. Here’s a vertical panorama showing Botafogo Bay.This was my favorite sunset shot so far. I used HDR but toned it down to capture what it really looked like (in a word, “unbelievable”). Finally, see below the runways of Santos Dumont commuter airport (Wikipedia has an identical picture!). This has got to be the commercial pilot’s equivalent of a carrier landing. Not much margin for error in my estimation. Behind the airport you see the bridge that connects Rio to Niterói.
