Below, you can see the neighborhood where B’s grandma lives (Icaraí in Niterói) on the horizon in the middle (white buildings).Look at how the sunlight breaks over the mountains -- truly a wonder of nature. On the left, you can see Copacabana.Detail from above. Here’s a vertical panorama showing Botafogo Bay.This was my favorite sunset shot so far. I used HDR but toned it down to capture what it really looked like (in a word, “unbelievable”). Finally, see below the runways of Santos Dumont commuter airport (Wikipedia has an identical picture!). This has got to be the commercial pilot’s equivalent of a carrier landing. Not much margin for error in my estimation. Behind the airport you see the bridge that connects Rio to Niterói.
