It turns out that cook extraordinaire Maria da Penha doesn’t have much experience cooking lobster. Luckily, even I can boil lobster. The kids were fascinated by the fish market hall for about 40 seconds.The shrimp are enormous. As I type, Penha is boiling water in which to cast the poor little buggers.
Just as a point of reference, I’m 6’3” (1.91 meters) and have pretty big hands.
The lobsters are so beautiful in the sunlight that streams through the kitchen window that it almost seems like a shame to eat them. Almost.
