It turns out that cook extraordinaire Maria da Penha doesn’t have much experience cooking lobster. Luckily, even I can boil lobster. The kids were fascinated by the fish market hall for about 40 seconds.The shrimp are enormous. As I type, Penha is boiling water in which to cast the poor little buggers. Just as a point of reference, I’m 6’3” (1.91 meters) and have pretty big hands.The lobsters are so beautiful in the sunlight that streams through the kitchen window that it almost seems like a shame to eat them. Almost.
