National beauty…

This afternoon we walked to the national park next door to the house in Teresópolis. It was a beautiful day but there were very few visitors. The park has a large spring-fed pool and tons of beautiful landscaping. The highlight is probably the waterfalls.   The new visitor’s center is really nice, with a gift shop and small café. If you find yourself in Teresópolis, I would highly recommend a trip to this wonder place. There’s also a scale model of the mountains in this area with trails marked with lights.
