I arrived at around 21:30 local time, 2:30 CET. The trip was uneventful but still wore me out (the shuttle picked me up at 5:15 CET). My mother-in-law's house was empty save for Sandra (super nanny) when I arrived. B, the kids, Marina and Cristina are at a wedding. I don't expect them to make it back before 4:00, by which time I will be deep in REM.
I just drank an Itaipava after savoring empadão for dinner. It's good to be back in Brazil!
