Praia do Forte

The first place we went to was “Beach of the Fort ”, so named as there is a small fortification there (the white structure on the rock outcropping). It took us about 10 minutes to get there by car. We parked right next to a beach-side bar and started soaking in the view.IMG_2468 (663x1024) The bar is technically above the beach, affording its patrons an incredible view of the fort and the seemingly endless stretch of beach. The beer is freezing cold. As Brahma was in short supply, I drank a few 600 ml bottles of Antartica. This iis the right size bottle for the tropical lager popular in Brazil.IMG_2529 (1024x683)praia do forte_2543 Panorama (1024x341)IMG_2477IMG_2566 (683x1024)

I’ll try to shut up and let the pictures do the talking as far as beach beauty is concerned.IMG_2483 (1024x671)IMG_2515 (1024x683)praia do forte_2538 PanoramaIMG_2615 (1024x683)
