Our apartment doesn’t exactly have an ocean view, but that doesn’t mean you can’t see the ocean. Sticking one’s head out the window, one can see Copacabana beach to the left, Ipanema to the right.
We can also see the ocean and the islands that lie off Ipanema, although with a very obstructed view.
By the way, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to find Hefeweizen here. Turns out the only thing I had to fear was the price of Hefeweizen. It’s about 4 Euros a bottle! I’m about to finish off a Franziskaner Dunkel and head back to the beach with my camera. More pictures coming up.
