Rio is one of those cities where the cool kids live and play. When we lived here, it was pretty common to see Brazilian celebrities in our favorite restaurants (including Alvaros), walking on the beach or simply lounging around on the beach like us. One of the cool things about Cariocas (people from Rio) is that they tend to leave famous people alone.
Yesterday, B’s mom came to visit and sat with us on the beach. Unbeknownst to us, there was a minor celebrity close to us so Cristina made the newspapers today. If you look close, you can see Marina’s head (she’s lying down).
