We got back on Thursday afternoon, bushed but not much worse for the ware. I’ve learned that I hate Iberia airlines and the airport in Madrid is one of the most poorly designed airports I’ve ever had the displeasure of visiting.
Anyway, my stepbrother Ty came in from England where’s he’s working on a project. We had a nice weekend visiting all the usual Heidelberg-area haunts. More info and pictures forthcoming.
Tomorrow is my first day back at work and Robert’s and Emily’s first day of school. Sophia starts next Saturday. I can’t say I’m exactly glad to be back as our trip to Brazil was our best ever. However, there are worse places to return to than our home in Walldorf.
