Cabo Frio…

On Wednesday morning we headed to my father-in-law’s beach house in Cabo Frio. Robert and I went by bus; everyone else piled into my mother-in-law’s car. The bus ride was extremely relaxing. That night, one of his neighbors offered to take us out on his boat. First thing Thursday morning, we headed out.
Claudio’s boat, the Cozumel, is moored in a canal about 10 minutes from my father-in-law’s house. It was a small commercial fishing boat that he converted to be family friendly. We saw several boats coming in and cleaning their catch.IMG_7913 (1024x683)IMG_7910 (1024x683)We waited for about 30 minutes for the tide to lift the water level in the canal and headed out.The view was absolutely beautiful the entire way out to sea and very interesting. We saw everything from luxory yachts to commercial fishing boats to penguins.
